Timeline

1979: Born on April 22nd in Suceava, Romania

1979 – 1986: Spent the first years of my life in a small village with two wonderful grandparents

1986 – 2003: Education, Sales and Gig Economy

2003-2010: Experienced working in different environments, trying on different jobs, 2 years internship in an international corporation in Malaysia

2010 – 2015: Got married had 2 great kids, enjoyed motherhood

2015 – Today: eCommerce experience and training

With over 11 years of experience working for different websites, I’ve become an expert in eCommerce Business Development.

I hold a Bachelor of Commerce degree in International Relations and Affairs from the Academy of Economic Studies in Bucharest, a Masters of Business Communication degree from the National School of Political Science and Public Administration.

Having finished school, I realized that all the theoretical information will not help if I don’t learn to put it into practice. From assistant to salesperson, to warehouse coordinator and sales manager, I experienced a lot of work environments and learned many practical things.

 When I got the opportunity to work for an US based company, one of the biggest online children clothing stores, I soon realized that working from home is perfect for me! I initially started with Customer Ssupport and soon learned to: manage the products catalog, optimize landing pages and homepage, sync inventory with marketplaces, the importance of KPIs, email marketing campaigns, reporting – pretty much all the aspects of running a store from A-Z.

It was all new, exciting and fascinating, so I decided to DIG deeper and expand my knowledge into what it takes to make a site work and be successful.  Working alongside my husband, we decided we wanted to share our expertise and knowledge with as many companies as possible. We founded eCommerce-today.com and became Shopify Experts, helping businesses big or small, building websites from zero and offering free advice to many people that have no budget for agencies and are just starting out a store. 

Today I’ve become proficient in working with Magento, Shopify, Klaviyo, Google Merchant, Analytics, Search Console, Facebook Business Manager and hundreds of apps, extensions and services.

I firmly agree with Zig Ziglar’s quote: “You can have everything in life you want, if you will just help other people get what they want.”
