The Process
For iSTYLE.ae, we developed a detailed migration plan to ensure the accurate transfer of product, customer, and order data from Magento to Shopify. This involved adapting the product data to Apple’s specific formatting requirements and setting up 301 redirects to ensure smooth URL mapping and prevent any SEO issues.
We then focused on Arabic localization and RTL support, ensuring that every page was properly aligned with regional cultural and language preferences. The old Magento site didn’t fully support RTL and lacked adequate Arabic localization, a critical gap that was addressed in the new Shopify Plus site.
