2.1. To accurately calculate and display the lowest price of a product over the required timeframe, the application monitors and extracts strictly primary product data. This is limited exclusively to: Product IDs, SKUs, and their corresponding Price values at given timestamps.

2.2. The application DOES NOT process, extract, or store any Personal Identifiable Information (PII) from your customers. We have zero access to customer names, shipping details, order histories, or payment information.

2.3. For standard operational purposes, we retain only the Shopify account administrator’s contact details (email address and name). This information is utilized strictly for application setup, technical support, and billing.

3. Data Retention and The 30-Day Auto-Clean Mechanism

3.2. Product pricing data (SKUs and associated prices) is stored exclusively for a rolling period of 30 days. Any price logs older than 30 days are automatically, permanently, and irrevocably deleted from our servers on a daily basis.

3.3. If you choose to uninstall the application from your Shopify store, all historical pricing data, configurations, and logs associated with your account are immediately and permanently wiped from our systems. We do not keep redundant archives.

4. Data Security and Third-Party Sharing

4.1. eCommerce Today enforces a strict zero-sharing policy. We do not sell, rent, aggregate, or distribute your store’s pricing history or catalog data to any third-party analytics firms, competitors, or marketing agencies.

4.2. Access to the database hosting your 30-day pricing logs is strictly restricted. Only the core development team holds administrative privileges, which are used exclusively for essential server maintenance, performance optimization, and technical troubleshooting.

5. Data Ownership and User Rights

5.1. You remain the sole owner of your product catalog and pricing strategy. Because our application does not interact with your customers’ personal data, there are no end-user PII liabilities generated by using this app.

5.2. As the store administrator, you retain the right to request the immediate manual deletion of your account and all associated pricing logs at any time, prior to the standard 30-day auto-clean cycle.
