Nircura is a Romanian health and wellness brand dedicated to improving quality of life through innovative, science-backed solutions. Part of the Neuro Performant group led by Costin Dămășaru, the brand focuses on Adaptogenic and Nootropic supplements structured around three pillars: Sleep, Focus, and Stress Management. Their identity is professional yet accessible, targeting “The Exhausted Performer”—urban professionals seeking biohacking tools to optimize their daily performance.
Challenges
Before partnering with eCommerce Today, Nircura faced a critical “lock-in” scenario on a legacy Magento platform. The primary roadblocks included:
- Zero Agility: Extremely low implementation speed and total dependency on developers for minor site changes.
- Stalled Launch: The inability to officially launch the nircura.ro and nircura.com stores, leading to missed commercial opportunities.
- High Operational Costs: Growing expenses without the ability to generate online revenue.
Phase 1: The Great Migration & Infrastructure Setup
Our primary goal was to migrate Nircura to Shopify within 8–12 weeks to provide the brand with the independence it lacked on Magento.
- Theme Selection & Design: We analyzed the original Figma designs and Magento structure to select the “Be Yours” theme, chosen for its ability to handle high-quality video content and interactive sections like “Science and Effects”.
- Technical Foundations: We implemented Shopify Payments for reliable processing and Shopify Markets to manage local (RON) and international (EUR/English) versions of the store seamlessly.
- Data Migration: We manually added and optimized the hero product catalog (15 items), ensuring all descriptions and images were SEO-ready and responsive.
Phase 2: Strategic Ecosystem Integration
Once the foundation was laid, we focused on making the store a fully operational business tool through deep integrations:
- Logistics & Automation: We integrated Xconnector to bridge Shopify with Romanian couriers (Fan Courier, DPD, Cargus) and DHL for international shipping. This allowed for automated AWB generation and real-time tracking.
- Financial Synchronization: We connected SmartBill for automated invoicing and stock synchronization, ensuring that sales made online or at the office remain unified in the inventory.
- SEO & Visibility: In collaboration with the client’s SEO team, we implemented an extensive technical audit, including hreflang tags for multi-language support, canonical URLs, and a structured blog to establish medical authority.
Functionalities Implemented
- Customer Experience: Integrated Wishlist King for saving favorites, Product Compare features, and a dedicated FAQ section to educate users on adaptogens.
- Trust & Compliance: Setup Pandectes for GDPR/Consent Mode v2 compliance and integrated “Trust Badges” (ANPC/SOL).
- Social Proof: Installed an Instagram Feed to showcase the brand’s community and interactive video panels to explain the science behind the products.
- B2B & Growth: Researched a custom ROI Calculator for B2B partners and initiated the Klaviyo setup for advanced email automation and cart recovery.
