TL;DR (The “No-Fluff” Summary)
-
Who: Stefan Chiriacescu, Co-Founder of eCommerce Today.
-
Where: AI Summit Europe 2026, Riga, Latvia.
-
When: May 6–8, 2026.
-
The Big Idea: The agency model of selling “hours” is dead. We are shifting to selling “systems.” I am leading two sessions to show you how to upskill your team into “AI Editors” and how to blueprint the infrastructure they will manage.
-
Core Message: You cannot fix your workflow if you break your workforce. We need humans for strategy and AI for scale.
The Trap: The “Executor” Dead End For decades, the agency and eCommerce world has been built on a fragile equation: sell hours, hire juniors to execute those hours, and hope for efficiency.
But here is the trap we are all staring at: AI has driven the cost of “execution” to near zero.
If your business model relies on charging clients for the time it takes to write a basic email sequence or draft a standard report, you are on borrowed time. The immediate knee-jerk reaction for many leaders is to slash headcount—to replace the junior workforce with software. This is a mistake. It removes the cultural glue of your company and eliminates the training ground for your future leaders. You cannot build a resilient company solely on software and senior strategists; you lose the agility required to adapt.
The Solution: The “AI-Augmented” Pivot The solution isn’t to remove the human element; it’s to elevate it. We need to stop viewing our teams as “Executors” and start training them as “Strategists” and “AI Editors.”
This May, at the AI Summit Europe in Riga, I will be leading two separate sessions to tackle this head-on:
The Keynote (Culture): The AI-Augmented Workforce. I will break down the exact framework we are using at eCommerce Today to navigate this shift. We are moving from selling “labor” to selling “systems and expertise.” I’ll cover how to train junior staff to prompt, critique, and refine AI output rather than generating it from scratch.
The Workshop (Tactics): Blueprinting AI Email Systems. Philosophy is great, but systems pay the bills. This is a “build-with-me” session where we will map out the new standard for email infrastructure. We will identify exactly where to inject AI into the customer journey to move beyond “open rates” and start measuring “profit per recipient.”
We are going to Riga because this is where the conversation shifts from “what can AI do?” to “how do we run a business with it?”
Is the workshop suitable for non-technical marketers?
Yes. The “Blueprinting” workshop is designed for strategists and agency owners. We won’t be writing code; we will be mapping logic, flows, and strategy. If you understand the basics of Email Marketing (flows, segments), you are ready for this.
Will you share the "AI Editor" job descriptions?
Yes. During the keynote, I will break down the specific competencies we now look for. We are moving away from “can you write this?” to “can you prompt, critique, and improve this?”
Who should attend the "Email Automation on Steroids" session?
The talk is designed for eCommerce entrepreneurs, marketing managers, and practitioners who want grounded, agency-tested strategies rather than theoretical buzzwords.
