The Project
Archtek Socks is a premium sock brand aiming to merge fashion with function, offering performance-driven, stylish socks for modern lifestyles. While their brand vision was clear, their previous website lacked the technical structure, design appeal, and optimization required to convert visitors into loyal customers. The site had limited marketing automation and was built in a way that restricted non-technical team members from making quick updates. Additionally, poor SEO structure and outdated UX elements were hampering discoverability and conversion rates.
The client reached out to us to redesign the website with Shopify, implement essential email automation flows, and build a strong SEO foundation to increase traffic and boost conversions.

The Process
To bring Archtek Socks’ vision to life, we began by conducting a comprehensive audit of their existing website and competitors. Based on our findings, we proposed a complete website redesign.
The focus was on improving UX/UI, eliminating the need for custom development by leveraging native Shopify functionality and high-performing apps.
We collaborated closely with the client to identify priority design elements and structured our project around clear deliverables:
- Milestone 1 – Website Redesign & Optimization:
We enhanced key site areas including the header, navigation, homepage, collection pages, and product pages. On mobile, we implemented a clean hamburger menu, optimized tap targets, and improved the footer with better hierarchy and contact visibility. The homepage was redesigned to feature best sellers, lifestyle photography, testimonials, and stronger CTAs. The product pages now feature optimized descriptions, cross-sell suggestions, size guides, and stock alerts. - Milestone 2 – Email Marketing Automation:
Using Klaviyo, we implemented six key email flows across the customer journey: newsletter sign-up, site abandonment, browse abandonment, cart abandonment, checkout abandonment, and new customer flow. These included a total of 16 emails, professionally designed and structured to drive retention and improve engagement. We also integrated domain-level DNS settings to enhance deliverability and built segments for targeted campaigns. - Milestone 3 – SEO Technical & Content Optimization:
We conducted a full technical audit and implemented fixes such as structured metadata, optimized H1/H2 hierarchies, and corrected missing elements like meta descriptions and alt texts. We optimized key pages (homepage, collections, product pages) with relevant keywords and began building a scalable content planner for ongoing blog and landing page SEO. We also added rich content elements, including FAQs and schema, for better SERP performance.
Throughout the project, we maintained consistent communication via weekly syncs and gave the client access to a staging site to collect feedback in real time. Our goal was to ensure a seamless and manageable Shopify setup that required no custom code, enabling their team to make independent changes post-launch.
Shopify Store Design
The website was rebuilt using the Prestige Shopify Theme, replacing the old custom-coded theme. This upgrade allowed Archtek Socks to:
- Benefit from all future Shopify platform updates
- Avoid reliance on developers for basic changes
- Ensure 100% mobile responsiveness
- Use native functionality for product filters, CTAs, quick views, and size guides
- Manage content sections, banners, and promotional messages without coding
- Streamline performance by eliminating third-party scripts and unused code
The homepage now highlights key products, features lifestyle imagery, customer reviews, and clear CTAs like “Shop Now.” The navigation and footer were redesigned for clarity, improved mobile use, and SEO structure.
Email Automation
We implemented six core flows in Klaviyo with 16 total emails to support retention and conversion:
- Newsletter Subscriber Flow (2 popups + 3 welcome emails with first-order incentive)
- Site Abandonment (2 brand-building emails with bestsellers and value proposition)
- Browse Abandonment (2 emails about product revisits + story)
- Cart Abandonment (2 urgency emails encouraging return to checkout)
- Checkout Abandonment (3 emails with incentives and guarantees)
- New Customer Flow (4 emails post-purchase: 2 on branding/service, 2 to encourage second purchase)
All flows were designed from scratch and implemented end-to-end, including domain technical setup, EMSP integration, and guided training for the client on how to manage them post-launch.
SEO Foundations
A Basic SEO Plan was delivered to fix key technical issues and prepare the site for long-term organic growth:
- Technical audit using Google Search Console & Bing Webmaster Tools
- Sitemap setup, indexing, robots.txt optimization
- Fixing 4XX errors, duplicate metadata, and missing meta descriptions
- H1/H2 structure, image alt tags, page load improvements
- Content planning and competitor analysis foundation for next steps
Results
After the launch, the client now enjoys:
- Full control of their Shopify store without needing developers
- Faster load times and improved user experience on mobile
- Higher engagement via Klaviyo automated emails
- SEO readiness for scaling organic reach
The site is now set up for marketing campaigns, A/B testing, and independent content updates – all crucial for a modern DTC brand.
