The Project faced several significant challenges that led them to seek our expertise. Their outdated Magento platform was increasingly difficult to manage, with a poor user interface and high maintenance costs. The platform’s performance issues were causing slow load times and a subpar user experience, which negatively impacted customer satisfaction and conversion rates. Additionally, the existing setup lacked robust SEO and marketing capabilities, essential for driving organic traffic and improving online visibility. The client required a quick and efficient migration to Shopify to address these issues while ensuring the integrity of their extensive data, including over 500,000 records of products, customers, and orders.

The Process

To address’s challenges, we initiated a comprehensive strategy that began with competitor analysis and theme and app research. We migrated over 500,000 data points, ensuring no data loss, and implemented extensive SEO measures to maintain organic traffic. This included automatic redirects and manual checks of the top 1,000 indexed pages.

We integrated essential tools such as Google Search Console, Google Merchant, Bing Webmaster, 2Performant, Meta Business Manager, and Google Tag Manager. Our team also set up a comprehensive email marketing automation system using Klaviyo. Furthermore, we supported their integration partner to connect Shopify with Charisma ERP.

The project required a total of 5 months to ensure a smooth and comprehensive transition. During this period, we migrated all data, created redirects, and collaborated with their marketing team to build a new and improved website. We also supported their integration partner in connecting Shopify with Charisma ERP. Weekly calls, sometimes twice per week, facilitated constant communication and progress tracking. Additionally, we conducted extensive training sessions to empower their team to effectively use Shopify.

Shopify Store Design

The new Shopify store for features a modern theme that is highly responsive and offers a significantly improved mobile experience. Built on the latest technological infrastructure, the site is much faster than the previous version. The team now enjoys the flexibility to make changes, such as updating banners and modifying the navigation structure, without needing to rely on developers. This newfound autonomy allows for quicker updates and a more dynamic online presence.

Email Automation

We implemented a thorough Email Marketing Automation structure for, targeting key customer engagement points. This includes flows for new subscribers, site abandonment, browse abandonment, cart abandonment, checkout abandonment, and new customers. Each flow is designed to re-engage users at various stages of their journey, enhancing customer retention and conversion rates through personalized, timely email communications.
